Great Memories for 2016 on Avalon's New Suite Ship Avalon is the best river cruises out there! The cabins have open air balconies, you can sit in the sitting area or lie in bed and watch the magnificent castles on the Rhine go by. My first stop was the beautiful city of Strasbourg ,France and then onto Mainz, Rudesheim and Cologne Germany which included a tour of the Heidelberg Castle . My final destination was Amsterdam where I visited the Ann Frank House Museum, this is a must see for everyone! The food , wine and beer at dinner are from the local wineries from each stop along the way exceeded all expectations! Most local tours are included on this cruise which make is so affordable. Upon my arrival into Zurich, I booked a private car tour and transfer with one of our offices Luxury Tour company that services Europe . Zurich is a beautiful city with great sites to see. I was then dropped off in Basel to begin my Journey along the Rhine. One of my most memorable trips!
